The Gozo Children’s Choir

If so, help your child become a member of the first Gozo Children’s Choir.

Miriam Christine is has launched the first children’s choir for the whole of Gozo.

If you would like your child to take part and represent your island, then call on telephone numbers 2155 6505 / 9942 1606, send an email or download an application form in Adobe PDF format or application in Microsoft Word Format.

Applications are subject to places remaining and applicants must be aged between six and fifteen years.

Choir rehearsals take place every Saturday at 10am and 11am at Lumen Christi Media Centre in Victoria.

Membership of the Gozo Children's Choir is not a substitute for group singing lessons or one-to-one vocal coaching for your child's development. For more information about these courses, please contact Miriam Christine on the same contact details provided above.

St Lawrence Festivities

The Gozo Children’s Choir are going to be performing at this year’s activities organised by San Lawrenz Local Council to celebrate this year’s St. Lawrence Feast. The Choir will perform some of their songs on Thursday 9th August at the village square in San Lawrenz, Gozo. The evening show will start at about 8.30pm and everyone is welcome to attend. Other top local Maltese and Gozitan artists will be performing on the night.

Kulhadd fil-Pjazza

The Gozo Children’s Choir are going to appear on popular TV programme Kulhadd fil-Pjazza which is broadcast live on TVM every Friday evening. The choir will perform on the programme which is going to be aired on Friday 10th August from the bay of Marsalforn in Gozo.

Gozo Beer Festival

The Gozo Children’s Choir will end a busy week by performing at this year’s Gozo Beer Festival organised by Xewkija Local Council. They will sing a number of songs on the final night of the Festival on Sunday 12th August at “Gnien il-Haddiem” in Xewkija at about 10pm. The evening will start at about 9pm and various local artists are going to performing before the show comes to an end with a performance by top Tribute U2 band from the UK.

BambinaFest 2007

The Gozo Children’s Choir are going to give a last performance for the month of August during this year’s edition of BambinaFest which is going to be held in Xaghra on Sunday 26th August. The activity will take place near the historic windmill with a lot of local talent taking part by singing and dancing.

Nadur Wine Festival 2007

The Gozo Children’s Choir will be participating in the Nadur Wine Festival which is one of the main yearly events in Gozo. The Choir are performing on the opening night of the Festival, that is on Friday 31st August. The show will start at about 7pm and besides entertainment for the whole family, there will also be various food stalls. The Nadur Wine Festival ends on Sunday 2nd September.
